Matt is a qualified advanced nurse practitioner in general practice who has been awarded the degree of master of science in clinical nursing and is therefore able to assess patients who present with undiagnosed problems and common ailments as well as simple and complex health problems. Matt is also an appropriately qualified independent and supplementary prescriber.
Sister Debbie Davies – Female

Debbie is a member of our team of practice nurses and has lead nurse responsibility at the practice for chronic disease management including chronic heart disease, stroke, asthma and COPD. Debbie is also an appropriately qualified independent and supplementary prescriber.
Sister Jeannette Turner – Female

Jeannette is a member of our team of practice nurses and has lead nurse responsibility at the practice for baby and child immunisations and vaccinations. Jeannette also runs our well baby clinic as well as travel clinics for patients registered at the practice. As such, Jeannette is able to advise on travel vaccination needs and those vaccinations which are available on the NHS and those that are only available on a private (i.e. non-NHS) basis, for which a charge will be made.
All of our practice nurses are highly skilled and important members of the practice’s health care team who see patients with long-term problems such as diabetes, asthma and high blood pressure.
Additionally, they also perform cervical smear tests, ECG as well as other heart and lung tests, health checks and administer vaccinations. Consultation with them is by appointment. Ms Yvonne Gallagher – Female
Yvonne has completed a NVQ Level 3 in health and social care and supports the work of the doctors and nurses. Yvonne is responsible for carrying out new patient health checks, blood pressure checks etc and taking blood samples. Yvonne is trained to undertake ECGs and is able to administer influenza, pneumococcal and Vitamin B12 vaccinations under patient specific directions approved by a doctor. Yvonne is also able to assist and support patients who wish to stop smoking.
