Finding Legal Advice

If you are a British citizen, but your family in Afghanistan are not:

  • As you are British, you can contact the IOSC to find an adviser who could help
    you. The link is: www.gov.uk/office-of-the-immigration-services-commissioner
  • You could also try the Home Office on: public.enquiries@homeoffice.gov.uk to see if they can advise you, but it is better to contact the IOSC.
  • Greater Manchester Immigration Aid Unit are a charity in Manchester
    offering specialist immigration advice. You can contact them on 0161 740 7722. Their helpline is open on Monday and Friday 09:30-13:00 and
    Wednesday 12:00-16:00
