On Monday the 19th of July, the last restrictions imposed by the government to keep us safe against COVID-19 were lifted, and as a practice, we were keen to open our doors and see our patients again. We have however decided to continue to only treat patients with urgent problems face to face and use telephone appointments otherwise.
This is because the numbers of patients with COVID-19 symptoms is increasing again locally. If we do not take this action now there is a danger of staff becoming infected, and this may mean we might have to close.
Our doors will remain locked and you are advised not to come to the practice without an appointment. We understand that this may be disappointing to some of our patients and we will continue to monitor the situation and will open again when it’s completely safe to do so.
We thank you for your understanding and continued support.
