You may have noticed that we’ve recently suspended your ability to book appointments online with a GP or Nurse. We have had to take this action for two reasons:
- 1. The volume of appointment requests is impossible for us to manage.
- 2. The number of requests for trivial matters was blocking acute and urgent appointments
We’ve regretfully had to take action to block this method of access. We understand that our phonelines are busier than normal as a result, and you are finding it harder to get through We are dealing with routine work and answering queries regarding COVID-19 infections and vaccine queries. We would ask you to support us by only calling if it is urgent. If your query is about COVID-19 or requesting vaccine appointment, you can find out about this by calling 0800 092 4020 or 0161 947 0770 to discuss your needs and book your vaccine appointment. Lines are open Monday to Friday 08:00 – 18:00.
